The fan - Symbols of the Imaginary Circuit

This simple structure, in which the object and the gap form a closed system, is a straightforward expression of the idea of imaginary circuits.
If you can feel some non-physical effects in the white gaps between the feathers, it means that the circuit is active, but unlike the optical illusion, the expected effect is very mild.

Kit

I made a little booklet called the Green File and carried it around with me. The booklet was a kit with stencils, assembly drawings, and recipes for paints, which made it easy to make the same functional pieces over and over again.

The photo below is a fan piece that appeared in an apartment I was renting in New York City, and was made with this kit. When I return the apartment, I can just throw the work in the trash, no need to transport or store it.
