The Japanese word 'Masu', which is pronounced just like the English word 'Mass', means rectangle. In other words, this coined word means media by rectangle. The small rectangle is the part where the object was drawn and is a symbol. The large rectangle is the part of the object that was not drawn, and is an imaginary symbol. However, since the sizes of rectangles are relative, a rectangle that acts as a symbol at one moment becomes an imaginary symbol at another moment. This structure induces such a phase transition continuously.
MasuMedia is a hand-drawn work of art. However, it is controlled by the following algorithm.
1. Think of the entire screen with the motif as a single rectangle.
2. If there is an area of interest within the rectangle, divide the rectangle horizontally and vertically into four new rectangles.
3. If there are still unevaluated rectangles, return to step 2.
4. Fill in all the rectangles with their average color.
